Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer, and model. He shot to fame after his role in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared on more than 22 TV series including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order among others. Qualls who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely determined fighter. Two years after treatment, the cancer has gone into the process of remission. However, the treatment at such an early stage had severe impact on his body and hindered his growth. In his early years the boy was used to poverty and so financial stability was the main objective. He stated that "I've been living so frugal for so long that I'm in need of financial security or things will get out of hand to me." The man also thinks back on his early years and wishes to take action on the issue of bullies. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. The best role for DJ is that of a real-life father. He admits that Directors do not have him cast in this role. He would like to become a dad one day, to be able to devote more time with the children and less to his career.
