Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor born on the 17th of October 1992. Her movies are mostly produced in Tamil or Telugu and Telugu, however, she has a role in some Malayalam ones. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). There were three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her acting journey began in the early 2000s. She played her debut lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well in the theater. Even though the film was not a success in the theaters the film she made her debut in is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. To make room for larger projects because of her busy schedule, she opted out of some films, which she then began working on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note for Prabhu's Thodari. It was delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September in 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. The debut film came out as Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and with actor Vijay. She also appeared in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
